Today I got my Rolling Stone in the mail and guess who's name graced the
cover? HANSON (obviously) sadly they didn't get the honor of taking the
cover picture (no, that job was already taken by Britney Spears), but
that's okay. They're name was on the cover because they basically had the
main CD review of the issue, Including a cartoon half page picture of them
(which I would scan, if I had a scanner). I thought it was a *great*
article. It received three and a half stars, which really isn't that bad
since I've only seen about two CD's ever getting a five. It can be found
on page 69-70 in the May 25, 2000 issue. Click

Our local
newspaper used to come with the magazine React but it doesn't anymore.
I think our free trial ran out or something. Anyway, it's in the
paper that Hanson will be on the cover of this Tuesday's issue. I
have scanned the picture I tore from the paper. If it doesn't show
up email me and I'll send it again. Anyway, I wanted to let you know
so you could watch for it and hopefully get some scans of it in so I can

for 'This Time Around' in The Times, a UK broadsheet paper today. It
is negative about Zac and his behavior but the album review is actually
not so bad. {Laura} Hanson were on Top of the Pops last night performing an acapella
version of If Only- it was fantastic, and all the audience were singing
along, which they weren't doing last time. If everyone can go to www.totp.beeb.com

on the show, they won, beating the 7 other artists, so it'd be great if

Rio, and then they'll come back to Sao Paulo!! Hanson will be on

Lunch Appearance Hanson were on in the UK, there's some transcript of 
the
interview (which whomever has written down has gotten the names mixed up)
and there is a real audio clip from the whole interview, some of the
interview is quite amusing, Jamie Theakston tries to get personal
responses out of Tay and Zac makes a really funny remark about "love
in a tube" that just has to be heard. Isaac also does some more
impersonations and sings "Caribbean Amphibian" in Kermit The
Frog's voice. A really hilarious interview altogether. GO

BBMak's new cd! The crossword of the month is also about Hanson!!
The post from
Jennifer talking about "Smile" and "Lonely Again"
being on the U.S. album is false. Only the promotional CDs given to the
press contain these two bonus tracks. I just got the Advanced Music copy
of TTA that they give to record stores and they are not on there. Also,
the track listing for the Cd has been released and those songs are not on
there. Just thought I'd clear that up and not give anyone any false hopes.

Thailand. Well, I’ve
got great news from here. FINALLY after 3 weeks of being on the charts, HANSON
is #1 on not one but 2 of the best and most well known charts! “If
Only” entered “Chart X (which is a top 20 countdown)” at #13 on
it’s first week, then jumped to #7 on it’s second week here, and
eventually shot up to #1 on it’s third week! Is that great or what?!
People here absolutely love the music. Now I’ll tell you about the
“CVR Charts” (a top 40 countdown). “If Only” entered the charts at
a high #7 which rarely happens to any new single. On the second week it
jumped way up high to #2 (although everybody were holding their hopes up
high for a #1). And on the third week, you know it, they ARE #1. I hope

Hanson left for N.O.Y. today. They performed at "Pop Jam" that
is Japanese TV show and appeared at some radio station. Pop Jam will be on

Today on TRL, they were talking about the wannabee a VJ contest and
they showed a lot of bands saying what they think would make a good VJ and
HANSON was one of those bands!! I'm not sure what they said because
I was screaming, hehe. But, I think Zac said something about knowing

I was at Wal-Mart
today and I went to look at CDs and on those things they have where you
can listen to like 3 songs from a CD they had a thing to scan where you
can hear 3 songs from This Time Around. You could listen to This
Time Around, If Only, and Runaway Run. Also, there's is a poster of Hanson
in the May 2000 issue of BB, and a centerfold of Hanson in the May 2000
issue of Superstars (There is a big pic of Britney Spears on the cover).

who thought they couldn't get it should go look for it at their bookstore.

24 / 04/ 2000, Monday Hanson is #1 again on MTV EUROPE'S SELECT CHART !!!
UK: Hanson were just on Radio 1 yesterday (Sunday)
being interviewed live!! It really surprised me because I thought that
they were in Japan. I only caught the end of the interview where they were
talking about firing rocks off a see-saw when they were younger and
how they hurt Zac's nose somehow and also Ike did a brilliant impression
of Kermit T he Frog-it was so funny! Also Hanson have just entered
the UK Top40 at number 15 with If Only. It deserved to go much
higher! There is a thing on Radio 1 called Smash and Grab where people
vote for their favorite new release, there were 5 to choose from and

Canada: On May 20th, Hanson will be at Much music...from 2:30 to
3:30 for an appearance and performance. Wristbands will be given on May

was reading the news on your page and some girl said something about
ordering the Hanson cd online. I wanted to say that if you order TTA
online from a different country that
it doesn't count on the CD sales and I think everyone in the US should
wait till it comes out in the US so that we can help Hanson's CD sale

I work at Blockbuster Video and Hanson's "This Time Around" is
currently on their trailer tape! It's great to hear the guys while I'm at
work, if only I could convince my co-workers that Hanson rocks. *LOL* So,
next time you go to Blockbuster, be sure to keep your ears and eyes

was at Camelot Music and it has the singles up on the wall it said that

was watching Pepper Ann this morning (don't ask why) and guess who they
mentioned. Pepper Ann wanted to play the piano and she came out of her
lessons and she was all bummed out cause she wasn't any good and she was
talking to herself and she said, "What did you expect? You go to one
lesson and expect to come out of there like teen sensation Taylor
Hanson." I thought it was pretty funny. :)

Canada:
HANSON is now in at number 15 on Kelowna's Top 40, Saturdays. This Time
Around, (accidentally, I hope), dropped from in the top ten, number 9, to
15. But I really think they're going to make it in no time to number 1.
On Kelwona's hot 9 @ 9, they've been at number 6, 5, and 4. But they
should hit number 1 easily soon. On a world station that HANSON has listed

Rick The Temp announced that Hanson will be on Much
Music on May 20th {Jessica Gibson}
Hanson is going to be here on May 18 & 19. Rick the Temp did say that
they would be here on the 20th, but he also said that it wasn't a definite
date, and besides, Hanson has some concert on the 20th. Hanson moved up
one place on the MuchMusic countdown.
